REDDITCH SAILING CLUB We are a small friendly club sailing on Arrow Valley Lake which is a 27 acre stretch of water just 2 miles east of Redditch town centre. All sailing dinghies up to 4.27 metres (14 feet) in length are welcome, however the main classes in the club are:-
Sailing The main activity of the club is racing to RYA rules. There are two races every Sunday morning throughout the year and a Tuesday evening series of races from May to September. Members can leisure or practice sail, with safety boat cover, on Sunday afternoons. Sail TrainingWe have a great team of RYA qualified and enthusiastic dinghy sailing instructors plus our own well equipped GP14 and Topper training boats. We run two training courses every year in April and September. We also teach dinghy racing and advanced sailing techniques.

FacilitiesThe club house is a modern building which has good changing rooms and toilets, and a first floor clubroom with balcony overlooking the lake, bar and galley. The boatyard has secure placements for members’ boats, 3 concrete slipways and a long mooring wharf. There is also a large terrace in front of the clubhouse. Social ActivitiesWe have a full programme of social events throughout the year, including discos, BBQs, quiz nights, Christmas and Summer parties. Supper is served after racing on Tuesday evenings which is a regular social evening through the summer.
